It may be one of the biggest clichés ever, but who doesn't like receiving flowers, especially if they arrive in an Instagrammable and irresistible package? That's exactly the motto of QRoses , a brand that has just arrived in Portugal that combines the art of gifting roses with technological innovation.
The first step towards success for the brand created by Janice Seinfeld, public policy consultant, Talia Zeni, attorney, and Rollin Thorne, co-founder of the rose company Rosatel, is to bet on quality products, such as roses from from Ecuador and Colombia, standing out for its long stems.
But QRoses' offering goes much further than a simple bouquet of flowers: "each rose, each detail of the packaging and each interaction are thought through in detail", they say in a statement.
In practice, the sophistication of the packaging is combined with technology, as the box comes with a card with an embedded QR Code, "which allows the recipient to read a message previously written by the sender and react in real time, ensuring a personal and immediate connection that elevates the concept of gifting to a new level of personalization and involvement", they conclude.
This premium rose box concept focuses on bouquets made up of 18 carefully prepared long-stemmed roses. Delivered in a magnetically-closing box, the bouquet is wrapped in tissue paper. The packaging also includes care instructions for the roses and a QR-Card.
QRoses boxes come in four varieties of roses: red, peach, pink and white. They cost €160, including delivery. You can order them through official website , but please note: currently, deliveries are only available in the Lisbon area.
