QRoses, a nova florista em Portugal que entrega rosas da Colômbia e do Equador

QRoses, the new florist in Portugal that delivers roses from Colombia and Ecuador

Associated with class, romance and elegance, long-stemmed roses can be from 48 to 60 centimeters tall and can last from 7 to 10 days , sometimes up to 2 weeks, with proper care, unlike common roses that last from 5 to 7 days. Since ancient times it has been believed that the longer a bouquet lasts, the greater the intensity of the feelings of the person who gave it, making long-stemmed roses a perfect gift to declare love .

Initially, the longer the stem, the greater the effort to care for and raise the rose and thus, these roses They reflect loyalty and devotion . The colors of roses also carry different symbolisms, with red being the most used to express love, passion, sensuality and desire. With a meaning, like their color, lighter, long-stemmed pink roses symbolize admiration, appreciation and esteem, expressing subtle emotions such as affection, sophistication and elegance. Naturally, as an expression of purity and innocence, the color white associated with this type of rose also symbolizes new beginnings and represents sincere and loyal love.

With these meanings in mind, QRoses, founded by Janice Seinfeld, a public policy consultant with a PhD in Economics from Harvard University, and Talia Zeni, a lawyer specializing in sustainable development, and Rollin Thorne, co-founder of Rosatel, has just arrived in Portugal, with deliveries only in the Lisbon area, and is a pioneer in the association of technology that allows the recipient to react in real time to the present . The company obtains roses from Colombia and Ecuador, the largest producers of long-stemmed roses, given the indicated weather conditions of heat, humidity and intense sun perpendicular to the ground.

Given the difficulty of achieving longer stems, the intensive work involved and the demand at certain times of year such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, the cost of this type of rose increases. At QRoses, bouquets of 18 roses cost €160 (delivery included).
